Anyone who was a fan of WWE back in the day will remember the legend that was Owen Hart. His tragic death in the ring in 1999 rocked the whole wrestling world. His high-flying stunts and exquisite crowd control had him billed as one of the fan favorites. With AEW: Fight Forever‘s release, the legend returns to his first videogame in years. Owen Hart isn’t immediately available in AEW: Fight Forever, and like a lot of the old wrestling games, you need to know how to unlock him for him to be playable.
How to unlock Owen Hart in AEW: Fight Forever
AEW has decided to break the mold that many sports games are stuck in and make a lot of their legendary characters unlockable. Rather than opt for pay-to-unlock style heroes, many of the best are earned through gameplay. You will have to put the work in to unlock Owen Hart in AEW: Fight Forever. However, he is available for free.
To unlock Owen Hart, you must complete 100 exhibition matches against the computer. These can include any of the match types except for training and minigames. One hundred matches is a lot to get through, but playing an absolute legend in the game is worth it. You don’t have to win the matches; just play them.
Once you have completed 100 exhibition matches in AEW: Fight Forever, you can purchase Owen Hart from the game shop. He will cost 50,000 of the in-game currency, which should be well without your grasp if you have already completed 100 exhibition matches.
You can view just how many exhibitions matches you have played by looking at the challenges menu. The challenges menu will keep track of how many you have completed on your road to unlocking Owen Hart in AEW: Fight Forever.
