Only one camera hardware upgrade is said to be planned for the Galaxy S24 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra might not come with significant upgrades to its camera hardware according to tipster @UniverseIce.
The tipster’s sources in Korea claim that Samsung will continue to use the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor for the main camera, the same 12MP Sony IMX754 sensor for the 3x telephoto camera, and the same 12MP Sony IMX564 sensor for the ultra-wide camera, as the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The only camera hardware upgrade is tipped to be the second telephoto lens, which will be the 12MP Sony IMX754+ sensor.
Due to the lack of major camera hardware upgrades, @UniverseIce thinks Samsung will introduce more software and processing enhancements on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
